To strengthen our teams, we are looking for a Mechanic - fitter M/F.

Your tasks:
Assemble parts and components in accordance with work instructions and technical drawings

Use hand and power tools safely to carry out assembly operations

Check the quality of assembled products and report any defects or non-conformities

Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with the company's safety rules

Contribute to the continuous improvement of assembly processes by proposing ideas for efficiency and optimisation

Take part in training new fitters and passing on best practices

Meet production deadlines and set output targets

Carry out basic preventive maintenance on assembly machines and tools

Qualifications:
2 years' higher education or equivalent

Previous experience in assembly or a similar role

Basic knowledge of technical assembly tools

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Attention to detail and sense of quality

Ability to work in a team and follow instructions

Knowledge of workplace safety rules

Technical skills

Organisational skills

Ability to work under pressure

Effective communication skills

Team spirit

Working hours Monday to Thursday 7.00am-12.00pm/13.30pm-3.30pm and Friday 7.00am-11.00am

Frequent travel and sleeping over

Driving licence required

Remuneration according to profile.

Luncheon vouchers after 1 year's service.

Position to be filled with a view to a permanent contract.
